We were doing the Panini Sticker book last night. (The girls have gotten the bug and are so enthusiastic about it btw)

J seems to have all the luck in getting the special stickers etc. So much so I called her Magic Fingers.

Mommy barely makes it into that list; and will still lose out to nos 1-3 during a confrontation, eh discussion :P

Just the 5 of us

We were at my cousin's wedding yesterday. And of course there was a photograph session. But it was difficult to get everyone from the Arshad clan together as Mama n Papa were busy helping entertaining guests etc etc and then the pengantin was no where to be found. So much so that J was asking every couple of minutes when when when.

So anyhow, being J she said this;

"Mommy, I have a great idea. We don't have to wait for the princess (that's what she calls the pengantin). Why don't we take a picture of just us."

Hence, the picture.

Nicely turned out too. Well, except Amir haven't gotten the hang of looking at the camera. 

But yeah, we now have a family picture. :)

Kisah Wallet

"Na, have you seen my wallet?"
"Did you bring it out of the car yesterday?"
"Oh yeah.. I forgot"

fast forward a few hours later

"Have you seen my wallet?"
"Again?!"
"Oh, I must have moved it to the other car when I drove it this morning."
"Can you please remember to take it out always. It's dangerous to be leaving it in the car... etc etc"
"Jangan membebel boleh tak?"
"But I am right.. Please remember next time..."
"Shhh! Ok, dah stop."

fast forward another few hours later, in the car, at the petrol station, wanting to top on the fuel.

"Deeeeenggggg.. Can't find my wallet"

morale of the story :: jangan membebel pada laki sendiri nanti kena tulah

Protective Sister, Metro Baby

I made Amir wear this yesterday. I know, mean Mommy. Haha!

When J came home after school, she was appalled. This was what she said to the maid;

"*gasp* Anik! Kenapa Amir pakai baju colour pink? Dia kan baby boy. Mana boleh pakai pink."

yes, ve-ry protective of the little brother now. :)

[side note; malam tadi selepas baca doa sebelum tidur J cakap - "I wish my family stays happy. I wish my friends were trains" Eh???! ]

Ms Full of Suprises

Jannah is definitely hands-down the joker of the family. The one who cracks jokes dengan penuh selamba and when the punchline gets to you, makes you go "Damn! She's good!"

So yesterday, we were at the kids gym in BV. Promised her we'd go so we went. The thing is, she wanted to go to the one in BSC but her Papa believes BV is less of a hassle to come in and go out as we were on a tight schedule. Thus, BV it is.

As expected, she refused to get out from the stroller as "this is not the gym I want to go to". I was already expecting a full blown meltdown mind you.

a couple of minutes later after coaxing her...

"Wait a minute.. Wait a minute.. Let me calm down"

*proceeds to act breathing hard a couple of times*

Suddenly, jumps down from the stroller and declares

"ok, i feel better now. Let's go"

*Mommy and Papa terus speechless and jaw dropped*

Loving it!

Definitely loving it! Have started my EBM stock and with this around, it definitely helps. So far, have not resorted to additional intake of "enhancers". Probably will do so after the 1st month when I need to increase the stock.

J is extremely curious by the whole milking / feeding process. She keeps asking questions like where does the milk come from, how much is there etc etc.

Annnnddd best LOL part was, she actually compared hers with mine and sighed "I wish I have big dots like yours Mommy"

Hahahahahahaha..

I tell you, she keeps saying the darnest things. :)

Friday Snippets

Today is Monday I know, but these were part of my conversations with my daughters on Friday.

While we were cuddling in bed after Subuh, Aliah asked me this cepumas question;

"Mommy, bila saya bole start driving ye?"

And Jannah said this, while we were watching the Royal Wedding on TV;

"Mommy, I wish I can have a dress like that"

She said this as she saw Princess Di, Kate and also the bridesmaids dresses. She even insisted on wanting the flowers exactly like the bridesmaids!

These kids I tell you..

Magic Word

At home, after a KFC dinner.

The girls were playing with the toys that came with the Chicky.Meal when one of the parts came off and got stuck under the sofa..

J said, "Mommy, can you help me get my toy"

Noticing she didn't say "please" I promptly questioned, "What's the magic word Adik?"

"Err.. Ah, I know. Abra cadabra ala kazzam!"
