Week 38

Penat.

Tired.

Reflux.

Nerve Pain.

Back Ache.

You name it. It's all there.

But, I am grateful Baby is still happy in the tummy.

And I am happy that my checklist are being ticked and getting done. The only nagging chore left is spring cleaning the girls' room. *sigh*

Update on the c-sect date; we don't have one. Haha! As in, 2/2 has been postponed. And as of now, new date has not been selected. 

Waiting for them to get in touch with Doc Kham, and get back to me. So yeah. Waiting game. It's ok. There's a reason for things to happen this way. 

Biiznillah, all will be well.

35 Weeks!

That is how far along I am already.. 

Hmmm... And how do we pack 35 weeks of info..?

It has been one heck of a ride that is for sure. Had my suspicions of being pregnant while we were still in the States, but couldn't do the test then coz a kit was sooooo expensive there. Came back, had jetlag and followed immediately by the usual first trimester symptoms - nausea, lethargic, all round can't get up. This was at par with Aliah's time. 

It was the most trying first trimester, what with having to do all the Mommy duties too. Plus I was (and still is) breastfeeding Amir. But Alhamdulillah, it has worked out. Amir from being so clingy and wants Mommy all the time refused me during the first trimester. So managed to put bfeeding time to at night only. And that is how it is till now. 

The 2 kakaks were excited about the prospect. One wanted a boy, and the other a girl. Haha! Guess who wanted which?

Fasting was a no go too. So I basically didn't fast at all this Ramadhan. Not a single day. I am still looking into all the relevant info of whether I would have to ganti, or bayar fidyah, or both. I am leaning towards the fidyah one btw - based on the fact that it is me who was at risk not the baby.

Talking about which, this little tyke is one healthy baby! He (ah yes, let's just let the cat out of the bag shall we) has always been ahead of his weekly development schedule since day 1. Currently at 35 weeks, he's already 3kgs! His siblings were already out by this weight! Definitely going to be the biggest baby out of the 4. 

And I have gained the most weight so far too. 14 kgs in total! I so feel like a whale now. The aches and pains are more too this time. Age I think. Haha. Thank goodness this is the last pregnancy. I don't think I am up for this again. 

C-sect has been scheduled and re-scheduled. It was supposed to be on the 30 Jan but we have pushed it back to 2 Feb because Doc Kham isn't around and I want her. Haha. Hopefully baby will stay happy in the tummy till then. 

Current mode :: panicky because there is still so much to do!! :P

And we're back!

Hopefully for good!

As you can see, we're expecting number 4 - insyaAllah. It has been eventful to say the least. Hence, the quiet.

Last Checkup

Had one yesterday.

And bcoz doc just got back from a holiday, clinic was soooo ramai orang. Waiting time was 4 hours. So we went home, Hubby went to settle some workstuff. By the time we arrived back at the clinic, 4 more numbers before it was our turn. Just nice. The kids manage to persuade us to bring them along for this checkup and much to Aliah's happiness, doc mentioned the gender of the baby to her.. And you could see how estatic she was over the news. Sungguh la opposite from Jannah. Hahaha!

Anyway, everything is all set and ready for D-Day scheduled for 13/12/11, insyaAllah.

I have started to hyperventilate, mind you - but keeping busy at home helps. ;)

Week 36

This is what they would call the last stretch home.. In a way it is. I have not talked much about Little Baby in the last month, in fact I have not talked much about anything in the last month! I really do not have a clue why. Same excuses might work I guess - too tired, too many things to do, yadda yadda..

I still have not packed my hospital bag, and truthfully there are still lots of things to cross out from my to buy list. I do hope I get them all in time and that Little Baby doesn't decide to come early. I have been busy nesting though.. Seeing that this time I would berpantang in my own home a lot had to be done to ensure I don't go cuckoo after 40 days of confinement. :P Mak has agreed to be around for the first couple of weeks for which I am extremely grateful!

Talking about which, we have roughly decided the date for the ceasarian section and it gives me about 3 more weeks before the big day. OR if somehow things do not work out that way, the other date we picked would be about 2 weeks away. Ho yeah.. Sooo not ready yet.

I have talked to my boss about when I want to start to take leave and most likely it will be starting December. I'd still go in to the office once in a while I think, but that would also depend on how I feel physically. As it is, big as a whale with aches and pains all over. So staying at work is no fun.

Little Baby is growing well Alhamdulillah. Last check up s/he was already 2.4kgs.. Everything seems to be on track. The kicks are still going strong, sometimes I can feel him/her stretch from the pubic bone all the way to the ribs. S/he prefers to stay on the right side most of the time, and I have one-sided stretchmarks to prove it too! :P

27 Weeks

Had my check up this week and am oh so happy to see Little Baby growing so well!

We do know if it is a boy / girl but this time around would like to keep it as a suprise ;)

In comparing the 3 for their tummy movements, Aliah seems the most docile and Jannah still is the most hyper making Little Baby a somewhere in between the two sisters.

Oh man, officially crossing the 3rd trimester line already... Nooo.. Not so fasttt!!

Doc pointed out on my excesive weight gain the last month (which of course I blame solely on all the raya food!) and I have been given a subtle watch it warning. Can you imagine? Me?? Getting a warning to not eat so much?! Hahaha!

I am impressed that the Little Dude / Duddette is almost 1kg already! Scan showed s/he is growing on track unlike J who was always smaller than what she was supposed to be. And look at her now, almost as tall as her Kakak! Tsk.. Goes to show.. Nothing to worry about. Alhamdulillah.

And I leave you with the cutest picture of Little Baby, going all grumpy when the specialist was prodding trying to get the best angle during the detailed scan.. See if you can detect it. :)

26 Weeks

First picture of Little Baby at 23 weeks in-utero...

sungguh la macam kakak-kakak dia. :)

We actually did the 3D scan before raya, but I haven't picked up the CD from the clinic to date. Sungguh la tak bermotivasi kan?

And I have not been jotting down much stuff this time around. No idea? No mood? Same old - same old? Whatever it is, Mommy is so sorry Little Baby. Please don't think Mommy loves you any less than your Kakaks..

The differences between this pregnancy and the previous ones mainly revolves around me. I think all my babies were good babies (of course which mother would say otherwise!) and everything is going according to the timeline, Alhamdulillah. According to the scan, all is well. S/he is developing as a baby should. Sempurna sifatnya. But we could see Little Baby wasn't a happy bunny during the scan, muka masam mencebik kalah Kak Jannah ok! And refused to let us see his / her total face. Kept covering it with the hands. Sama macam the incident where Doc Kham was trying to see the gender, Little Baby siap kepit cross legs bagai ni tak nak tunjuk. Hahaha!

Anyway, the differences. I think it is because I am getting older. So makin penat, makin tak larat. I can just conk out at any time / place. The leg pain thing (sciatica) is back and worse than before! I am putting on a whole lotta weight! (Granted I can blame it on all the raya food but still.. ) Next appointment is due next week and hopefully all my stats (sugar, BP, weight gain) are all within the normal range.

[oh, just read up again on sciatica. apparently what I have is not sciatica but pelvic girdle pain (PGP)]

I've got about 3 months left of being pregnant. And suddenly, it feels like time is flying so fast! Ye lah sangat, first trimester haritu tak penyabo nak cepat kan? :P
