*This is a belated post.*

We were here during the March school hols, coinciding with Mak's "pilot's" wedding. It was a 3d/2n stay. Although Friday tu sampai2 pon dah Maghrib. Jannah being her usual self, automatically disliked the new environment. It was difficult to get her to sleep.
Saturday morning, we started of with the EcoPark. I have to say, although it is small.. it was definitely better than other zoos we've been to. The kids enjoyed themselves a lot there. They had an animal show (although only macaws were part of the show), we got to feed the animals (for RM5/pack of veggies and nuts). They even had a petting zoo area which was pretty cool.
After that we went to the Waterpark, tak sempat amek gambar as the kids were enjoying themselves in the pool too much. (Note to those who wants to go there; we recommend you take up the cabana rental - it is cheap-ish (rm30 for 2 hours) and it gives some extra comfort too as it can get really hot)

We left soon enough and decided to literally Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan. Heard so much about the Mee Udang Kuala Sepetang and upon goggle-mapping figured it was not that far. Along the way we were greeted by this.. Election was round the corner then kan. Anyway, it was utterly delicious. Memang sedap amat! Even now thinking about it has me drooling. Haha. The queue was crazy, people came from everywhere just to eat there. There was about 1km worth of cars and buses parked by the roadside near the kedai.
Sunday, we left early as we still have a long way to go as the wedding was in Grik. And we reached home way after Isya' as we really took our time and made stops along the way (Sg Perak, Sg Buloh). The kids were forever singing with Barney in the car. All in all, it was a great trip.

I left it collecting dust again.. *sigh*

Saya ketiadaan mood.

Hubby's away again.. This time it's the longest ever since we got married. And we don't have the luxury of video calls because he's in a different country on a totally different time zone. Ada pon video conference on GTalk.. itu pon gagal coz line is always sucky.

Aliah is not being as cranky this time, as she get to spend her time at TokMi's house. Both my SIL are away too this week, so all the nieces and nephews berkampung at Mama's place. She's all grown up now, as she's ok about sleeping away without Mommy. Time sure does fly. Well, at least Jannah is still very much manja and needs Mommy to sleep with her still.

Like I said, no mood. Tsk..

4 days to go.. let time fly please.

Neglected Posting

How many weeks has it been? 3 weeks?? Tsk.. Craplah.. So much to recap!

I've been preoccupied with my Twilight saga. And currently re-reading all 4 books for the second time.. *sigh* sangat chenta sama Ed.ward. The movie does not do it justice. Me.yers is an awesome writer. Hubby just rolls his eyes every time he sees me with the book. Haha.

Aliah is loving her playgroup sessions. So much so that when we missed one class because we went to Bu.kit Me.rah, she was extremely upset. "Mommy ni jalan-jalan je, haa.. kan dah tak pegi sekolah" Rigghhtt.. I just hope she stays that way till she graduates. =) She's moving away, bit by bit from her obsession with Ultra.man and Ben.10. Right now, Upin&Ipin are on her top most list. We attend the ALIM.Kids Playgroup by the way. It is all the way in TTDI (far I know) but I don't really mind.

Her reading is much much improved. She's finished the Peter&Jane book 1a and can read from book 1b quite effortlessly. Even her e-Xra reading is quite good. To date, she's reading up to "ra". I think she can do a lot better if Mommy can dilligently spend time with her on a daily basis. As it is now, I get distracted with a lot of stuff and reading to her gets relegated to the non-priority list. *hangs head in shame*

She understanding the concept of time too now. Everyday, without fail she will ask "Mommy balik pukul brapa?" And no matter what your answer is, you better make sure that by that said time you are already at home. Or else, be prepared to answer her call asking you why you're not home yet at that said time. Her favourite phrase would be "Mommy ni cakap tak betul la" Haha. Oh, yes. She can use the phone now. We have one phone at home for them and I've put all the important numbers on speed dial for her. So everyday she will call Mommy, Papa, TokWan, TokMi, Tok and Bibik.

Jannah is a moody person. No, scrap that. Jannah does not like people. If the number of people in the vicinity > 5, she cringes. She cries. She develops a phobia. She does not get out of her stroller to walk about when we go out. She does not like the playground too if there are many people. Tsk. But, when it's just Mommy, Papa, Kakak Aliah and Anik.. then you can see the true Jannah. The chatterbox. The sweetheart. The I've got no fear attitude. *sigh* Makes me think, she's the one that needs to go for playgroup sessions.

She's 21 months now and she talks non stop. She sings too. She will insist on dragging you to whereever / whatever it is she wants. And she even does that to Aliah! Alhamdulillah la Aliah is the kind of Kakak that layan. Yesterday, we saw her dragging her Kakak to the TV room, took out the CD sleeve, picked out the CD she wanted (which would normally be either Bar.ney or Ma.da.gas.car II) and Kakak would take it and put it on for her. Sweet kan?

Budak bertuah ni jugak is intelligent enough to know when she can get away with things. Like for instance, when she sees her Bibik Anik is praying. She knows that would be the perfect time to pester her Kakak to unzip her bag of colour pencils so that she can start to conteng the walls. Yes, Sarah Nur Jannah loves to conteng the walls! *sigh*

Hmm.. not bad for a come back from being neglectful. Haha. I promise, the next post will be about the Bu.kit Me.rah trip.
