It was wonderful!
We became tourists in our own capital (sans camera), and just walked around, lazed around. Totally blissful. No stress of traveling, and no stress of leaving the kids behind for long. We are definitely going to do something like this again.
Checked-in Friday afternoon, ohh-ed and ahh-ed the suite they put us in. Checked out the spa, booked our session. Gawked at the infinity pool. (couldn't take pictures, Hubby was a little apprehensive about taking pictures of people by the pool). Walked over to KLCC, had early dinner at Genki. Yummylicious! Walked and walked sommore. Couldn't decide whether we wanted to stay to catch the midnite or not. Decided to call Caza to ask her what cool movies could we watch on DVD (since the suite had a big ass TV and DVD player to boot). After consultation, we decided to get Stardust. Awesome movie!
Woke up the next morning at 10! Panic ok (panic pasal buffet line closes at 10.30 - haha). Never have we slept through like that. Ye la, if we are at home one of the kids would have woken us up. Tak sedar dunia punya tidor. Nasib baik sempat breakfast. The spa session was great. Just what I needed (and wanted.. hehe) We finally checked out and left the hotel at 4.
Almost in PJ when Papa called with Aliah on the line asking when we would be home. Heh. Perfect timing. You would think we left her for a week from the way she greeted us.
