Wishlist 2010

I just need to put this up to see what I we aim to get / buy / achieve this year.

1. Renovate the house
2. Be credit card free
3. Get a DSLR
4. Go Europe
5. Kia For.te / Peu.geot 308
6. Go Bali - again
7. Buy a drum set
8. Get a Blackberry
9. Get pregnant? Haha!

So, let's see. #1 is a definite must, as it has been 5 years and we did say we will do it after 5 years. Plus, it seems that the cracks have stopped - as in no new cracks are seen anymore and the leaks well, it gets worse now. And hopefully #2 will be achieve this year too.

For #3, I think Hubby would be getting this for me. So, tick that one too. Hehe.. Definitely a Ni.kon. But contemplating either the D3000 or the D5000. I doubt I'd go beyond amateur photography, so right now it is heavier on the D3000 side.

#4. *sigh* What can I say about this. It is a dream. But it is too pricey. But then again, if they impose the visa thingy from 2011, this year would be the best year to go. Ah well, we'll see how much bonus we'll be getting and than re-evaluate.

I think #5 would not be achievable. Mainly because if we were to sell off the Spec.tra we would have to fork out another 17k to pay the difference. Haihh.. Not worth it. But OMG, a 308. Drool OK DROOL. Imagine a RED one. *sigh*

For those who know us, you'd know we'd make #6 happen. Haha. So, no worries there.

I have been wanting a drum set for a long while now. Not the old school drum kits, but an electronic one. Then we can start jamming at home. (after the house gets renovated of course, 1 room is to be converted to a studio-home office-all-in-one type thing - haha!) (Ril, jangan jealous ye kami laki bini nak jamming) So, this wish bole postpone sikit la until after the renovations.

Ejean & Anne, korang mesti nak racun aku kan untuk #8 nih? Haha! Takpe, sabar ye sabar.

#9. I might. I might not. Right now, it's still undecided. On one side, waiting to get pregnant later is not such a good idea as I am getting older. On the other hand, I am enjoying having only the 2 angels to attend to. Itu pun kadang-kadang rasa tak menyempat. I still wish I have more time with them and for them. So, if tambah lagi? How? But in the meantime, kalau ada rezeki.. Alhamdulillah.

Aliah is 5!

13 January 2005 is still very much fresh in my memory...

I still remember waking up to contractions at the wee hours of the morning.

I still remember taking my own sweet time having the mee sua that morning as Mama made me eat it.

I still remember being scolded by the nurse for not coming in earlier, as I was already 3cm dilated at that time.

I still remember feeling apprehensive when the doctor said I was not to have any more food while admitting me in.

I still remember feeling numb when told that I would have to go for emergency c-sect as the baby has not engaged even though I was already 5cm dilated with 5 minutes apart contractions.

I still remember panicking as I was wheeled in to the operating theatre.

I still remember feeling an indescribable happy-elated feeling as soon as I heard the baby cry for the first time. (I think I cried too)

But most of all, I remember all the wonderful joyous moments the baby has given us for the next 5 years.

Sarah Nur Aliah, you may be a big girl now but you will always be my one and only first baby. May you grow up to be a bright, successful Muslim and a good daughter whom your sibling(s) will look up to. Mommy, Papa and Jannah loves you very very much.

First Day of School

Epitome of calmness. That's how I would describe it, even while she was sitting beside the boy who was bawling his heart out (kesian budak tu, nangis sampai tertido).

While chaos was reigning around her, she was sitting on her chair drawing and scribbling. Then she got bored and made a paper hat out of the paper given to her! All this within the first 30 minutes of school.

We left her soon after that.

Came back at 1230 to see her tagging along her teacher. Heheh.. The teacher told us she was fine, and even volunteered to sing in front of her class today.

First day of school nih! Even I wasn't that brave.

...sigh.. I am so proud of her!

Jumbled Thots

• haaa... amek ko dah kena soft reminder dgn org miri. kamek mintak ampun, bukannya sik mauk update.. nya sik ada masa, polah kerja. hikhik amacam? still can lepas or not kamek klaka?
• I started the post from Hubby's new toy (new la kan less than 6 months old - haha!).. but got sidetracked by a lot of things, thus terbengkalai again.
• I don't have time to daydream now, my mind is forever on the go and thinking. If not because of work (which by the way I have a new project to handle.. *sigh* penat lah!), then it's hyperventilating about Aliah who is going to start school next week OR hyperventilating about Aliah's party.
• Yup, her 5th birthday is coming up and I am having a logistics nightmare! Tahun ni tukar venue, buat dekat poolside at TokWan's place. Serabut! Serabut!
• I need to go and see the surgeon about the growth (yes, it is back) but I am procrastinating. How la?
• Why is it that year end = everyone takde mood nak kerja?
