Aliah's Picture Taking Skills

Aliah loves the camera. Not being in front of it, but taking pictures with it. And since I still am very lazy to blog proper proper.. I will just post here some of the pictures she took with Jannah being her favourite model. She holds the camera so well, with the strap hooked on to her hand but she still need reminding not to block the flash hence most pictures have a half light thing going on.

And it is straight to work

I had a good trip. Yeah well, shopping trips are always good aren't they. Especially when you come home with loads of stuff in full bags. Haha!

I went to Bandung via Jakarta. It was a 5D/4N trip. For the first time, I went somewhere without Hubby. Bole tak touchdown kat Jakarta je aku dah nangis. Over sangat kan? Hahaha!

That was as far as I got to typing down a post last week. Been extremely busy. And suffice to say, even right now I can't find time to write more! Hence, only 2 posts so far this month. Tsk. Baik tak payah ada blog camni.

I will try to write later.. AFTER I finish clearing my in tray and updating my working folders. *sigh*

Another month has passed..

Stats are currently

Weight : 8kgs
Height : 68cm

She has grown this month! Probably due to all the demam - demam she had to endure. Even now, 2 more teeth are on the verge of coming out.

According to her milestones, she should be able to :

• wave goodbye - check! what she does, she would first look at you and then look at her right hand before cautiously lifting it up to wave bye bye
• pincer grab - check! she's an expert at picking any small stuff on the floor and then putting it in her mouth. sheesshh..
• crawls well - check! but sometimes you'd find her half dragging one leg. don't know why she does that but she sure is fast!
• says "mama" and "dada" - not really.. she does say "ayaaaaa" though. i guess you could say her first word is "Aliah"
• indicate wants with gesture - check. and is usually accompanied by verbal screams.
• stands alone for a couple of seconds - check. this one she mastered a few weeks back already. in fact, this morning she actually took her first step!! wohoooooo!!!! and best part was.. i was there to witness it. i am so glad that i got to see it first.

I was going to write another post.. but right now.. I need to get some sleep. I will be leaving for the trip later this morning. Will write when I get back insyaAllah..

The Week That Is

tirriiinngggggg!

It all started on Sunday when both kids had fever. High fever pulak tu. And both were being extra clingy and whiny.

Monday I took the day off, even with having Anik around it's not fair to her la kan.. if it was only 1 kid that was sick maybe ok jugak la. That evening, Jannah started to develop spots on her kaki. So I brought her to the clinic again, just in case. I was afraid it was one of them chicken pox/measles thingy. As it turned out, doctor thought it could be denggi - which was worse! So, that day witnessed the first time I had to watch and hold down one of my own kids for their blood to be taken. It was sangat sedih ok, Jannah was crying in a way that you know she was pleading to you to make it all stop. Mak dia dah nak nangis ni tapi kena control macho ok. Dah la Hubby wasn't around that day, oh the emotional wreck I was feeling.

Anyway, Alhamdulillah the blood test was negative. She doesn't have denggi. It is viral fever and right now she has spots all over her body. Nasib baik la budak kecik, kiut lagi la dengan spots all over tu. If orang tua, sangat bughuk rupanya ye kawan - kawan. Apparently it is in the air now. And apparently it can be contagious too. Anyhow, Jannah doesn't seem to care that she has spots, which is good because she doesn't scratch on them. And she's a happy happy baby all the way now.

I contribute her fever to a few things I think.. orang - orang tua kata ape.. nak besar? Probably jugak la coz right now she is on the verge of walking already anndddd she also already has 2 front teeth! Finally!

So yeah.. things have been hectic and tiring. Tu belum lagi bab kat opis yg sememangnya sentiasa banyak keje. *sigh*

A Dilemma

I will be going on this trip, with my colleagues. And to date, I have not renewed my passport yet. Goes to show how bersemangat I am about going. Haha! Actually, I was. But under the current circumstances, Hubby can't go due to his new project. Bohoo! And the kids will be at Mama's sans Mama. And that has got me worried. Isk. If Hubby tak pegi and he is at home, takpe la jugak. Masalahnya, dia pon kena pegi outstation jugak! So, yeah. There is a bit of a dilemma right there.

On a different matter, I am thankful that my job provides me with a yearly bonus and increment. Although it is a bit late this year and not as gempak as last year, at least ada la jugak. Syukur. Ada jugak duit for the Trip. Haha!

And on a totally different matter all together, I don't know whether to feel insulted or flattered. There I was carrying Jannah this morning at Mak's office Family Day when all of a sudden came along this makcik asking if it was "Dr. S's cucu" I was carrying. I answered with the affirmative. Then she had to ask, "Mak dia mana?" WT??

Like I said, should I feel insulted or flattered??
