Finally got it done! Unlike Jannah's which we did on the 14th day, we couldn't find the right time to do Amir's earlier. Bermacam halangan berlaku.. But Alhamdulillah, last weekend it was a done deal.
This is the first time we've done a kenduri this big at our own place. Aliah's aqiqah was done at kampung while Jannah's was at Mama's. I panicked, because for one the house is serabut! Plus, the whole idea of doing it while I was still on maternity leave didn't materialise so I didn't get to clean up the house so to speak. Hence, beria lah took leave nak kemas rumah.
Because I have like beratus family, a khemah was necessary. Hence terdengar orang komen, "macam nak sambut menantu". Yeah, I can only imagine when the time comes for that!
