Week 36

This is what they would call the last stretch home.. In a way it is. I have not talked much about Little Baby in the last month, in fact I have not talked much about anything in the last month! I really do not have a clue why. Same excuses might work I guess - too tired, too many things to do, yadda yadda..

I still have not packed my hospital bag, and truthfully there are still lots of things to cross out from my to buy list. I do hope I get them all in time and that Little Baby doesn't decide to come early. I have been busy nesting though.. Seeing that this time I would berpantang in my own home a lot had to be done to ensure I don't go cuckoo after 40 days of confinement. :P Mak has agreed to be around for the first couple of weeks for which I am extremely grateful!

Talking about which, we have roughly decided the date for the ceasarian section and it gives me about 3 more weeks before the big day. OR if somehow things do not work out that way, the other date we picked would be about 2 weeks away. Ho yeah.. Sooo not ready yet.

I have talked to my boss about when I want to start to take leave and most likely it will be starting December. I'd still go in to the office once in a while I think, but that would also depend on how I feel physically. As it is, big as a whale with aches and pains all over. So staying at work is no fun.

Little Baby is growing well Alhamdulillah. Last check up s/he was already 2.4kgs.. Everything seems to be on track. The kicks are still going strong, sometimes I can feel him/her stretch from the pubic bone all the way to the ribs. S/he prefers to stay on the right side most of the time, and I have one-sided stretchmarks to prove it too! :P

Sri Ayesha GD 2011

My little girls have all grown up! *sigh*

To watch Jannah perform on stage was amazing. She is a natural at performing. Sangat graceful.

And Kakak was her usual confident self.

I have to admit, I was disappointed that Aliah didn't get Top 3 in her class. She did get the Best Subject - English award however. It was expected though seeing how her results dropped this semester. I think she was disappointed with herself too.

Ah well, a good thing too so that she won't be too complacent next year. And Mommy needs to do all she can as well to help. Sometimes I wonder if that is being kiasu. But, tell me again which parent does not want their children to excel and be the best in whatever it is they choose to do?

Addition to the Arshad Clan

This is Khalisah Zahrah, my newest niece born on the 14th November 2011. A splitting image of her elder sister who is extremely excited about getting a sibling.

A big congratulations to my brother and sis in law for this bundle of joy!

PTC - review

I was pretty apprehensive about the PTC or more commonly known as Report Card Day. This would be Jannah's first review after being in school for about 4 months. I was in all honesty, not expecting much from her as the Jannah before school refuse to even hold a pencil or even read abook. I did however have high expectations from Aliah as she has been saying most of her exams were easy peasy.

Hubby was forever reminding me to - jangan jadi kiasu.. be happy with whatever they get.. bersyukur. I know I know, easier said than done. But which mother doesn't expect the best from their children kan? And I was slightly disappointed.

Her teachers were very much reassuring, saying Aliah is indeed a bright girl. And one of the best they have had the pleasure of teaching. It might have not reflected in her exam results, she had 3 98%s, 96%, 94% and a 84%. And that pulled her overall average down a bit much to Mommy's disappointment :( . But I gotta tell myself to keep looking at the bigger picture. BIGGER PICTURE nana! Focus! Focus! And yes, Alhamdulillah I do indeed have a bright girl, a responsible one too. One that I know I can totally rely on as the eldest of her sibling(s). 

Jannah was a surprise too. The teachers too were surprise with her. Her basics are all good. Of course she is having a bit of a problem with her Arabic and Jawi and Islamic Studies. But her counting and ABCs and her basic logic understanding are all good. So, Alhamdulillah too. Next year baru Mommy jadi kiasu dengan Adik ok. Tahun ni boleh rilex lagi. :)
