A Dilemma

DaisypathVacation Ticker

I will be going on this trip, with my colleagues. And to date, I have not renewed my passport yet. Goes to show how bersemangat I am about going. Haha! Actually, I was. But under the current circumstances, Hubby can't go due to his new project. Bohoo! And the kids will be at Mama's sans Mama. And that has got me worried. Isk. If Hubby tak pegi and he is at home, takpe la jugak. Masalahnya, dia pon kena pegi outstation jugak! So, yeah. There is a bit of a dilemma right there.

On a different matter, I am thankful that my job provides me with a yearly bonus and increment. Although it is a bit late this year and not as gempak as last year, at least ada la jugak. Syukur. Ada jugak duit for the Trip. Haha!

And on a totally different matter all together, I don't know whether to feel insulted or flattered. There I was carrying Jannah this morning at Mak's office Family Day when all of a sudden came along this makcik asking if it was "Dr. S's cucu" I was carrying. I answered with the affirmative. Then she had to ask, "Mak dia mana?" WT??

Like I said, should I feel insulted or flattered??

The cuteness of Jannah

I am amazed at my 2nd born's continued development.

As for now, she can steadily stand by herself especially if she's busy doing something else and doesn't realise that she is actually standing. I would be the one to always trick her into standing, i.e., either by giving her something to keep her hands occupied or while she concentrates on the TV. Heheh..

Anyway, last Saturday.. Aliah had just finished taking her bath, I was busy drying her (lap badan and give the hair a proper shake through) and was having a hard time trying to get her to put on her clothes. So all of a sudden, Jannah quickly crawled over, grabbed the towel that I was just using, stood up and proceeded to lap my hair.

If you know the YM emoticon ":O" then you know that was my exact expression at that time.

As Myra puts it, that is so blogworthy. :)

Last Week

This is a no reason post. I just want to put up the pictures and to remember it later.

Lining up outside waiting for the grandparents.

Clockwise from left : Ammar, Aliah, Aishah and Dida; Diorang ni kalau tau nak pegi taman, pukul 630 pagi semua dah bangun mandi.

Firstly was the sleep over at PJ. The kids of course could hardly wait for the next morning taman-breakfast routine with Tok and TokMi which gave the mommies and daddies a little bit of extra sleep time. Hehehe...

All ready in the Unser, waiting to go. Notice, Abg Aza with his muka bangun tido. The only one who refused to take a bath prior to going out. (He eventually went with his Mr Beans PJs - haha!) Idris had to literally besarkan mata dia, kalau tak sure tak nampak. Haha!

Meanwhile, the 2 babies were left behind. Notice, Baby J with her muka baru nangis. Nangis pasal kena tinggal tau tu.. Memang susah la lepas ni nak tinggalkan dia. Maisarah is only 3 months old, but look at how big she is (or to put it the other way around, look at how petite Jannah is :D) And yes, the same baju was intentional for the picture taking. Although neither me nor Kak Eita knew the other had bought the baju.

So, Mama and Papa has 8 grandchildren now. 5 girls and 3 boys. For once in the family, the girls outnumber the boys. Aza and Idish sangat tak puas hati. Hahaha..

Aliah's New Look

[edited 17/04 : I decided to add in a before picture for you to compare]

She got a haircut! Mommy felt very serabut tengok her unruly hair. So, off we went to TokMi's hairstylist. Brave girl she was. Not a single peep out of her during the whole process. Mind you, this is only her 2nd time getting a haircut. Somehow her new hairstyle makes her look a bit more mischievous me thinks. Hehehe...

While I was Away

Oh penat!

I had to go to Muar on Monday, but was hoping and praying that I wouldn't have to stay overnight. As it turned out, the boss wanted to stay. Thus, there was no way I could bail out and let him stay there. Plus by the time dinner and all was over that night, it was almost 10.30pm. The thought of actually driving from Muar to Tangkak at night... hmm... forget it la. So, had to stay overnight lah. Mind you, this would be the first time I left Jannah overnight. Although technically, there were times when I had to stay in the office to finish up the tenders.

Anyway, when I arrived at Mama's petang semalam.. both girls were fighting for my attention. I was suprised that even Jannah now understands that concept. As soon as she saw me at the door, she crawled over and hung on to my feet. While Aliah was determined to make me carry her. I first carried Aliah and gave her hugs and kisses after which I put her down. Wanting to do the same with Jannah. But Aliah being Aliah, terus merajuk and masuk bilik. Boleh? Haiyerrr.. Of course la nak kena pujuk dia balik, so while pujuk-ing her, Jannah pulak start to membebel wanting to be carried. Ah sudah! Diorang ingat mak diorang ni besar sangat ke bole nak angkat dedua sekali. Tsk...

But, it is bliss to be home. And it is a wonderful feeling to be loved and "rebut" by your kids. Haha! Penat pon terus hilang.. :)
